During the current energy crisis, many consumers are looking for ways to reduce their energy bills. The most effective way to do this is via home renovations, but that can often be easier said than done.

Consumers are often unsure about how deeply to renovate their homes or at what point it becomes advantageous to install a heat pump. Consumers can also often be reluctant to invest due to the steep up-front costs.

Join us for this event that will explore the findings of two new BEUC studies. You will learn how to identify the best-value renovation and insulation works and how best to communicate that to consumers. Discussions will also look at how to ensure consumers’ access to affordable financing options. This event will also provide the consumer perspective on how the revision of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive – currently being negotiated by EU legislators – could help consumers on the ground.
