New report from the Horizon 2020 project Turnkey Retrofit: Market & PESTLE analysis

The report identifies the state of play and analyses factors that encourage the implementation of One stop Shop Platforms in France, Ireland and Spain, using the PESTLE tool.

BPIE is one of the partners of the H2020 project Turnkey Retrofit which aims to develop an integrated and user-friendly platform for deep retrofitting in France, Spain and Ireland. The TURNKEY RETROFIT project will be developed as a homeowner-oriented renovation journey, that will be accessible through a user-friendly digital platform, and that comprises all aspects of a renovation process, from the moment the homeowner is first interested to renovate, to the decision to renovate and all the way until its completion. The TURNKEY RETROFIT service will facilitate this through providing information, guidance and offering the best technical solutions tailored to the user’s needs.

In order to define the business model of the TURNKEY RETROFIT service in each of the target countries, it is necessary to undertake an analysis of the environment in which this service will be offered, with the aim to identify, analyse and understand the external factors that could affect its functioning.

The report identifies the state of play and analyses factors that encourage the implementation of One stop Shop Platforms in France, Ireland and Spain, using the PESTLE tool. This acronym refers to the Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal and Environmental aspects that have been considered when carrying out the analysis.
