[Event] How can a local government encourage ambitious renovation of condominiums ?

The conference, taking place in Antwerp, Belgium on November 22, 2018, is organised as part of the Interreg NWE ACE-Retrofitting project.

Target audience: Local and regional governments / administrations

Location: FelixArchief, Oudeleeuwenrui 29, 2000 Antwerp (Auditorium)

The sustainable renovation of a condominium is a very complex challenge with many legal, social and financial obstacles to overcome. Numerous (highrise) condominiums date from the late sixties and are in need of deep renovation. The Interreg-NWE project Accelerating Condominium Energy Retrofitting (ACE-Retrofitting) wants to link the condominium co-owners and the building sector.

At this conference, you will discover the outlines of the urban and energy policy of the city of Antwerp. Learn how a local government can collaborate with syndics, home-owners’ associations and construction professionals. Find out how tools can stimulate them towards ambitious renovations. Based on real cases both the bottlenecks and solutions for these renovation projects are explained.

The conference will be in Dutch, simultaneous translation in English will be available.

This conference is free of charge, but you need to register in advance. A no-show fee of €50 will apply.
